Local man charged following incident involving step-daughter

On Saturday February 8 at 5:44 p.m., Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance at Pine Lake Mobile Home Park, located at 2422 S. NC 119 Highway in Mebane. On arrival, the victim told Alamance County Sheriff’s Deputies that her step-father, George Baker Beale, assaulted her during an argument between the two. Mr. Beale was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center, where he was held under a $25,000 secured bond.

On Saturday February 8 at 5:44 p.m., Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to a disturbance at Pine Lake Mobile Home Park, located at 2422 S. NC 119 Highway in Mebane. 

On arrival, the victim told Alamance County Sheriff’s Deputies that her step-father, George Baker Beale, assaulted her during an argument between the two.

The victim told Deputies that Mr. Beale overpowered her, grabbed her by the neck, threw her to the floor during an argument inside the residence and choked her. Deputies interviewed the victim’s mother who witnessed the assault.

Mr. Beale was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.
