On Wednesday May 20, at approximately 7:30 p.m., Alamance County Sheriff’s Deputies, with assistance agents of NC Alcohol Law Enforcement (ALE), executed a narcotics related search warrant at 413 Peele Street, Burlington, N.C.
This search warrant was the end result of an intense investigation involving various violations of the N.C. Controlled Substances Act. Investigators identified the suspect a James Thompson, Jr. of the residence.
Investigators seized the following items from the residence:
- 2835.7 grams (6.25 lbs.) marijuana
- 1940.3 grams ( 4.28 lbs.) of THC infused edibles
- 137.5 grams (4.85 oz.) of THC oil
- $2864.00 in U.S. currency
- One AR 15 style rifle
- One SCCY .380 handgun
Mr. Thompson was arrested and transported to the Alamance County Detention Center.
