Local riding center hosting fundraising event this weekend

On the evening of Saturday, October 5, the North Carolina Therapeutic Riding Center, located at 4705 Nicks Road in Mebane, will be hosting its annual fundraising event, The Mane Affaire. This year’s event, which is themed “A Night at the Disco,” will be hosted at the Riding Center, and is sure to be a hit. This event, which will be hosted by Fuschia Rage, will have hors d’oeuvres from the Alamance Community College Culinary Arts program, along with cocktails, treats, live auctions and raffles for trips including a Blowing Rock vacation and Bald Head Island retreat, photo booths, and more for people to enjoy. Attire is “farm dressy,” with disco costumes encouraged.
