Mebane intersection undergoing improvements this week

A traffic safety investigation has led N.C. Department of Transportation officials to modify a Mebane intersection in western Orange County. There is currently a two-way stop where Mill Creek and High Rock roads intersect, with traffic flowing continuously on Mill Creek Road.NCDOT plans to install new signs to make the junction an all-way stop on Tuesday, July 23, weather permitting.
