Raleigh man in custody after coming to Alamance County to solicit child

The Alamance County Sheriff’s Office Special Victims Unit opened an investigation in May for Solicitation of a Child by Computer. On Thursday May 28, at approximately 4:00 p.m. the Special Victims Unit and Criminal Investigation Division arrested John Charles Christopher Wright of Raleigh, after he came to Alamance County to meet a minor at a location in the County. Wright was charged with Soliciting a Child by Computer or Other Electronic Device to Commit an Unlawful Sex Act Resulting in Appearance at a Meeting Location.
