Authorities searching for man in Haw River murders

Alamance County Sheriff's Office authorities are searching for Justin Lynn Ramirez, a 31-year-old white male. Ramirez has been described by local authorities as 6-1, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. Ramirez is believed to have been involved in a double homicide in Haw River on Monday evening. Mr. Ramirez is considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to be driving a stolen 1996 Dodge pick up with NC registration YC7394. The truck is primer in color on the front and top. The truck is beige in color with a single brown stripe down the side. If seen, do not approach Mr. Ramirez. Call 911.

On Monday night (November 11) at 10:21 p.m., Deputies with the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office responded to 2092 Payne Rd in Graham in reference to two victims found deceased from gunshot wounds.

Investigators developed a suspect - Justin Lynn Ramirez, a 31-year-old white male. Ramirez has been described by local authorities as 6-1, 180 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. 

According to Alamance County Sheriff's Office officials, Mr. Ramirez has been apprehended by the Asheboro Police Department on Tuesday morning. Alamance County Sheriff’s Investigators are now en route to Asheboro where they will take custody of Mr. Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez will be returned to Alamance County and interviewed by the Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division.
