A new boutique has opened up inside Eclection Emporium along Fourth Street in downtown Mebane. Known as “Dress Up Boutique,” the new store is the creation of Eclection Emporium co-owner Jessica Carpentier’s daughter Kala, as she joins forces with her mother to create a new atmosphere inside the popular local store.
“My mom owns Eclection Emporium, and I decided to open up a little boutique booth in there,” Kala explained in a recent interview with the Enterprise. “I sell clothes, earrings, and all kinds of accessories. I try to price everything very cheap, so all age groups can afford it. I have a wide variety of styles in there, so I think every style would be covered in there.”
Calling the style “Southern Girly,” Dress Up Boutique has received early appreciation from the shoppers of Eclection Emporium for its range of clothing, jewelry, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, bags, and other accessories.
“I definitely have my mother’s supporters supporting me, so that was really nice,” the owner said. “I post of my my new stuff before I put it in the booth on Facebook and Instagram. And we do live sales through Eclection Emporium. I think live sales are a huge part. We sell a lot during the live sales.”
Dress Up Boutique can be found inside Eclection Emporium, located at 110 N. Fourth Street in downtown Mebane. They can also be found online at https://www.facebook.com/dressupboutiqueee/.
