Eastern improves to 4-0 with road triumph, head into short week rivalry clash

On a rare Tuesday evening game night, Eastern Alamance’s varsity football team hung tough on the road for a 41-21 triumph at Rockingham. The Eagles improved to 4-0 heading into the biggest game of the season - a Saturday afternoon homecoming clash with fellow undefeated Western Alamance with the Mid-State Conference regular season championship on the line. Quarterback Hunter Douglas threw for 208 passing yards to go along with three touchdown passes, while Ce'Darion Williams finished the evening with 119 receiving yards and a pair of touchdown grabs. Running back Quentin Idley (pictured) led the way on the ground for the Eagles with 114 rushing yards.
